To connect to a Linux instance in Google Cloud:

Step 1) Go to your project:

Step 2) Click on SSH Button drop down to set new SSH password:

Step 3) Connect using SSH to Linux Instance on GCP kindly refer this link 

Step 4) Connect to your instance and you shall be able to operate your machine with ssh
